Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Green Bay in Wisconsin has revealed the results of its extensive US$23 million renovation project, which lasted two years from start to finish.

The renovation programme was undertaken in three separate phases, encompassing the lobby, corridors, conference rooms, 391 guest rooms and suites, and hotel exterior. We take a look inside.

A property-wide transformation

When guests arrive at Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Green Bay, they’ll now see an entirely redesigned space. Here, the latest Radisson brand design combines the comfort and natural elements of Scandinavian-inspired hospitality with recognition of Oneida Nation heritage. Moreover, a new marketplace and Sky World Coffee and Custard shop give visitors somewhere new to indulge.

“We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of this hotel team and truly appreciate the investment by the hotel’s ownership, the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin,” said Aly El-Bassuni, chief operating officer, Americas, Radisson Hotel Group. “This is an extraordinary transformation for Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Green Bay, and I am confident hotel guests will enjoy this amazing new product and top-notch service.”

A refreshed hotel experience

Guests can reach the hotel from Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport on a complimentary shuttle. While onsite, they can unwind in the sauna and indoor pool and dine at the onsite restaurant, Duck Creek Kitchen & Bar, which highlights local produce such as Oneida beef and bison, apples from Oneida Apple Orchard and Oneida white corn. The hotel also caters for meetings and special events, with 30,000 sq ft of event space and an award-winning catering team.

“We are thrilled to welcome our new and returning guests into our beautifully refreshed hotel,” said Steve Ninham, the hotel’s general manager. “Our hotel features incredible amenities and the brand’s visual identity, which includes natural tones and a design that puts the guest experience at the forefront allowing them to relax and create memorable moments throughout their stay.”

The newly revamped property, which is located near Lambeau Field, Oneida Casino and Thornberry Creek, is implementing the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol programme to ensure the health, safety and security of both guests and team members.
