The Ritz-Carlton Perth, Australia’s new luxury lifestyle destination

Ritz-Carlton grows footprint in Australia with an enviable riverside opening in November 2019.

Marriott’s well-known luxury brand Ritz-Carlton is set to land in the Australian city of Perth later this year with the opening of the Ritz-Carlton Perth scheduled for November.

We find out more about this exciting new property.

Perth continues to grow with new Ritz-Carlton property

The capital of Western Australia is often cited as being the world’s most isolated city, but now visitors have a new reason to head to Perth – a luxurious Ritz-Carlton property on the banks of the Swan River.

The Ritz-Carlton Perth is due to open in November of this year, just in time for the heat of the Australian summer.

Perth continues to be eyed as an up and coming city and has experienced a huge swell in interest from both at home and abroad, recently making it onto a New York Times list of 52 places to visit.

No doubt Marriott has been keeping tabs on Perth and has concluded that it is a solid investment and a good fit for the Ritz-Carlton brand.

“Together with our Ladies and Gentlemen who strive for service excellence, we will bring together exceptional experience, beautiful design and memorable moments to create a profound sense of place for guests,” said Dario Orsini, General Manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Perth.

“When The Ritz-Carlton, Perth opens on November 15 this year, it will create a new leisure destination for locals, visitors and travellers alike.”

Features and amenities at the Ritz-Carlton Perth

The new Ritz-Carlton Perth hotel occupies an enviable spot right on Swan River with a harbour and landscaped promenade right outside the hotel’s entrance.

Guests can enjoy panoramic views across the water, and all the sights and sounds of the exciting Elizabeth Quay precinct are just a stone’s throw away.

The 205-key property channels Western Australia’s wildness and beauty in its design, which is evident from the moment guests step through the door. Vast swathes of Kimberly sandstone decorate the lobby and reception area, recalling routes through the Karijini gorges.

All guest rooms are calming and luxurious, finished in warm timber and elegant fabrics. For those looking for privacy and exclusivity, the Ritz-Carlton Club has its very own concierge, haute cuisine menu and outdoor terrace from where dinner can be enjoyed against the backdrop of river views.

The hotel also benefits from a swanky rooftop bar, which no doubt will be popular with both locals and tourists alike. It is also ideal for both business and leisure travellers, given the ample meeting and conference space the venue boasts.

For those looking to relax and rejuvenate after a long day of sightseeing or attending meetings, they can retire to the state-of-the-art spa, with its outdoor infinity pool and private yoga classes.

The hotel is perfectly positioned for guests to take advantage of the many local experiences on offer in Perth, including seaplane tours and sunset cruises.
