The average bathroom in Germany measures just eight square metres, with adults spending a good hour in them every day (source: mach-dein-bad.de). These figures can also be taken as an average for the whole of Europe, with some variation from country to country. It is therefore a fact that we only afford a small space in our homes to personal hygiene. Even in hotels, the bathroom is not typically the largest of spaces. The king-size beds, minibars and seating areas take up the majority of the room, which leaves precious little space for the wet unit. Integrated into the prewall, the Geberit niche storage box creates an additional shelf surface, while the optional mirrored sliding door can be opened to the left or right as required.
