Construction work has now started on a 120-room Even Hotels-branded property next to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Montana.
A contemporary property will soon be built next to one of the fastest growing airports in the US.
A prime development site
Eres Capital has announced the groundbreaking for a major Even Hotels-branded property in the new Yellowstone Airport Plaza mixed-use development adjacent to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. On opening, IHG’s 120-key scheme will service increasing demand from the airport, as well as the surrounding area.
Eres Capital, which is leading the development of Even Hotels – Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, has appointed O’Reilly Hospitality Management to manage the property. The hotel is expected to reach completion in late 2022.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with IHG on this incredibly located development, being the first hotel positioned at one of the fastest growing airports in the country,” said Mike Elliott, CEO of Eres Capital. “Typically, you will see over ten hotels around an airport this size and, while supply has grown in the downtown Bozeman area, virtually no hotels have been built in the Belgrade or airport area for at least a decade, marking this as an incredible investment opportunity.”
Tim O’Reilly, CEO of O’Reilly Hospitality Management, added: “We are so excited to join forces with Eres Capital in the development and management of what will be one of the nicest hotels in Bozeman. We believe this growing market will provide an energised platform for the success of this unique and upscale hotel brand.”
A burgeoning travel hub
Spanning approximately 70,000 sq ft across four storeys, the hotel will encompass 120 guestrooms, along with amenities like the Cork & Kale restaurant, bar and market. There’ll also be lounge areas, meeting rooms, an indoor pool and an Athletic Studio, alongside a courtyard with firepits.
Overall, the property aims to meet the needs of wellness-minded travellers who want to maintain their daily routines while away from home.
In addition to accommodating travellers using the airport, the hotel will provide a new accommodation option for people visiting Belgrade, the city of Bozeman, the Bridger Bowl ski area, the Big Sky Resort areas and Yellowstone National Park, which like the airport has experienced rapid growth in visitor numbers.
Julienne Smith, senior vice president, IHG Development, said: “We are excited to partner with Eres Capital on their first Even Hotel property and the first in Montana. With convenient proximity to downtown Bozeman and Yellowstone National Park, wellness-minded travellers now will have a hotel option that caters to their individual lifestyles and desire for an upscale accommodation.”
Benefitting from several development projects including a terminal expansion, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport went from serving around 680,000 passengers in 2009 to over 1.57 million passengers in 2019.
