Montage International and DINE have partnered up to develop both a Montage and a Pendry resort on Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit coastline.

These Montage and Pendry resorts, both with branded residences, will be located within the 1,500-acre private peninsula master development of Punta Mita.

A lifestyle destination

The newly announced Montage Punta Mita with branded Montage Residences and Pendry Punta Mita with branded Pendry Residences are expected to open in 2026. Luxury amenities across the resorts will include Spa Montage, Spa Pendry, several restaurants and bars, sporting amenities and event space.

Alan J. Fuerstman, founder, chairman and CEO, Montage International, said: “Having experienced incredible success with our first international property in Los Cabos, I am delighted to be returning to the dynamic coastline of Mexico to launch a new Montage resort and expand Pendry Hotels & Resorts’ footprint internationally.

“We look forward to bringing our hospitality offerings to Punta Mita through our visionary partnership with DINE and joining this unparalleled resort community in such an extraordinary part of the world.”

Alejandro de la Barreda, CEO of DINE, one of Mexico’s premier real estate developers, added: “Partnering with Montage International to bring both the Montage and Pendry brands to Punta Mita builds on the multi-decade legacy of excellence we’ve worked to create within our gates, and in the greater Riviera Nayarit region.

“Montage International brings a certain prestige for creating luxury, amenity-driven experiences for its owners and guests, and we look forward to weaving that into life at Punta Mita for our existing community and future visitors.”

An amenity-driven experience

Montage Punta Mita will span a 63-acre site and encompass 140 guestrooms, as well as 91 private Montage Residences, alongside amenities ranging from a fitness centre, Compass Sports centre, a pool and spa to premium restaurants, a games room, event space and children’s programme.

Set on a 30-acre area overlooking one of Riviera Nayarit’s premier surf breaks, Pendry Punta Mita will then host guests in 115 rooms, multiple restaurants, event space, a games room and sports centre, with a children’s programme also available for families. The resort will be joined by 30 fully-serviced private Pendry Residences.

Guests staying at both resorts will benefit from access to the amenities of the wider Punta Mita development, which is home to two signature Jack Nicklaus golf courses, five residential beach clubs and Punta Mita Ocean Sports.

Residents of Montage and Pendry Residences will also be able to make use of the services and facilities at both resorts.
