The signing of Mondrian Tulum Hotel & Residences follows on from the December 2022 launch of Mondrian Mexico City Condesa. The Tulum hotel is expected to open in 2025.

This forthcoming Mondrian property is being developed in partnership with Riviera Maya real estate developer, Inzigna Capital.

A culturally vibrant setting

On opening, Mondrian’s second hotel in Mexico, Mondrian Tulum Hotel & Residences, will provide a new social hub and lifestyle retreat in what’s known as a vibrant and bohemian-chic town.

The Mondrian hotel collection is curated to connect guests with some of the world’s most exciting cultural scenes. This newly signed Mondrian property will join another of Ennismore’s recent signings, Jo&Joe Tulum, in the coastal destination.

Situated off Coba Avenue, connecting downtown Tulum to the beach, this Mondian hotel will draw on its destination through a unique design concept and standout programming, along with a focus on building community.

For short and long-term stays

Mondrian Tulum Hotel & Residences will house 64 guestrooms along with public spaces including a destination restaurant, lounge bar, specialty rooftop bar and pool bar and grill. A spa, fitness centre and outdoor pool will be among the hotel amenities.

The property will also encompass 151 residential units with a range of configurations including three-bedroom townhouses and the four-bedroom Casa VIP. Residents will have access to the hotel’s wellness areas.

In all of its properties, Mondrian aims to deliver innovation and creativity through its progressive, forward thinking approach to hospitality. The brand’s hotels encourage guests to immerse themselves in the culture of a city.
