Mondrian Shoreditch London is now welcoming visitors to the UK capital following the redesign of an existing luxury hotel, The Curtain, by Goddard Littlefair.

This eye-catching hotel aims to stand out from the crowd in London’s hip Shoreditch neighbourhood.

A new chapter for The Curtain

The sixth hotel in Mondrian’s global portfolio, Mondrian Shoreditch London takes over a property that was formerly home to luxury hotel The Curtain. With help from Goddard Littlefair, the Reuben Brothers-owned property has undergone a major redesign, before reopening under the Mondrian brand with 120 guestrooms, including 13 suites, and a lifestyle offering that reflects its location in East London’s creative and cultural hub.

It also represents the return of Mondrian to the city, more than two and a half years after the Mondrian London hotel became Sea Containers London when Lore Group took over management of the property from SBE.

Exciting gastronomy at Mondrian London Shoreditch

One of the highlights of Mondrian Shoreditch London is a new culinary experience by Michelin-starred chef Dani Garcia. His restaurant, BiBo, offers tapas in a relaxed space incorporating courtyard seating.

Another noteworthy F&B option is Christina’s Shoreditch, which serves coffee, cocktails, natural wines and casual plates from a katsu sando bar, with all products sourced from local independent suppliers such as farmers, growers and community bakeries.

The hotel’s culinary programme is joined by co-working space and a rooftop pool and lounge, Altitude at The Curtain, which is exclusively available to members, with hotel guests gaining access for breakfast. The site’s celebrated Curtain Members’ Club will reopen in September 2021.
