Minor Hotels has announced plans for a strategic expansion of its presence in Dubai

Minor Hotels, a global hotel owner, has signed a strategic management agreement to operate an existing beachfront property on Dubai’s Palm West Beach in partnership with Seven Tides. Rather than developing a new hotel, the company is taking over the well-known Dukes The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, thereby expanding its presence on Palm Jumeirah.

A new chapter for a Palm Jumeirah landmark

Effective August 1, 2025, Dukes The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, will become part of the Minor Hotels portfolio. This beachfront property includes 273 hotel rooms and 287 serviced apartments, bringing Minor Hotels’ total offering on the Palm Jumeirah to 1,524 keys across three properties. The company already operates the Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort and NH Collection Dubai The Palm.

Located directly on Palm West Beach, this stunning hotel offers access to a stretch of upscale restaurants, beach clubs, and entertainment venues. Its prime location also places guests within a 30-minute drive from Dubai International Airport, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers.

The Palm West Beach property offers a wide range of amenities and accommodations for both short-term guests and long-stay residents. Here’s what visitors can expect:

  • A variety of room and suite options
  • 287 serviced apartments, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts
  • Six dining venues, including a specialty restaurant and pool bar
  • A private beach with direct access
  • Infinity pool and a relaxing lazy river
  • Comprehensive wellness facilities
  • Family-friendly amenities and services

Uniting vision and location: A strategic milestone

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, said, “This expanded collaboration with Seven Tides represents a strategic alignment of values and vision. Palm Jumeirah is one of the most dynamic hospitality markets in the world, and securing a dominant presence on West Beach enables us to bring our elevated guest experiences to a location that perfectly embodies the energy and ambition of Dubai.”

With this latest addition, Minor Hotels continues its dynamic expansion across the UAE, currently operating 17 properties under 5 brands. Seven Tides is a privately owned real estate development and holding company headquartered in Dubai, established in 2004.
