The hotel group has just signed a management agreement with Boulevard Hotel Company Limited for a hotel in central Bangkok, Thailand, expected to open in Q4 2024.
Thailand’s second NH
The hotel, NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard, will be the second NH property in Thailand after the NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort.
The 309-key property is located just off Sukhumvit Road, just 200 metres from the BTS SkyTrain public transportation system and in the heart of the city’s commercial and shopping district.
The hotel is also just a 30-minute drive from Bangkok’s main airport, Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK).
Currently operating as the Boulevard Hotel Bangkok, the property recently completed extensive renovations of its guest rooms, lobby, restaurant and pool areas.
The newly designed rooms, including a mix of lead-in and deluxe rooms and suites across two wings, feature a contemporary design in neutral earth tones and modern fixtures. The property’s amenities include an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby bar, meeting facilities, a fitness centre and a large outdoor swimming pool.
Minor Hotels expects to rebrand the property as NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard in Q4 of this year after adding NH’s brand touches over the coming months. In the interim, the hotel will operate as the Boulevard Hotel Bangkok under Minor Hotels’ management.
The next step in Minor’s expansion
It’s a significant move for Minor Hotels, who have begun mapping their expansion outside of Europe and the Americas in recent years.

NH Hotels & Resorts, one of Minor Hotels’ eight brands, was founded in Spain in 1978. Today, Minor Hotels operates over 230 NH properties globally, predominantly in Europe and the Americas.
