Millennium Hotels and Resorts has added Manchester’s The Lowry Hotel to its Leng’s Collection of independent properties.

UK addition to Leng’s

The 165-key property is in a central location on the bank of the River Irwell and around 15 minutes drive from Manchester Piccadilly station.

The hotel has changed hands several times since its opening in 2011 and is currently owned by Singapore-based CDL Hospitality Trusts.

Facilities include a bar and restaurant, extensive spa and wellness amenities, a fitness centre and large meeting rooms and events space.

The Lowry will become one of around a dozen properties in the Leng’s Collection, including The Biltmore Mayfair, The Bailey’s Hotel London Kensington and Hard Days Night Hotel Liverpool in the UK.

Connection to Manchester

Christophe Cialdella, vice president, operations and owner’s Representative, Europe and UK, Millennium Hotels and Resorts, said:

“The Lowry Hotel perfectly encapsulates what the Leng’s Collection represents: individuality, elegance, and a strong connection to its surroundings.

“Its reputation as Manchester’s favourite hotel and its commitment to exceptional guest experiences make it a natural fit for our portfolio.

“We are thrilled to welcome The Lowry Hotel into the MHR family and look forward to supporting its continued success.”
