Another Marriott brand takes up Residence in Dubai
Demand for extended-stay hotels shows no signs of letting up anytime soon, which may explain why Marriott International has decided to bring one of its most active brands, Residence Inn by Marriott, to the UAE for the very first time. Residence Inn by Marriott Al Jaddaf is a 134-key property in a great location close to both Downtown Dubai and Business Bay, with fantastic views towards the Burj Khalifa.
Jenni Benzaquen, vice president of brand for EMEA at Marriott International, said: “As a thriving destination for leisure and business travellers alike, there is no better place than Dubai to debut Residence Inn by Marriott in the UAE. Guests will benefit from the upscale living experience paired with hotel amenities that this pioneering longer stay brand offers, allowing them to maintain a healthy balance, maximise their time and connect with the local scene in a prime city location.”

An impressive extended-stay offering
All of the suites on offer here – which span studios, one- and two-bedroom units, and three-bedroom duplexes – are fully equipped with kitchens, bathrooms and separate living/working areas. Many also benefit from private terraces with memorable views of the famous Dubai skyline.
“We are delighted to bring Residence Inn by Marriott, a global leader in the extended-stay lodging segment, to the UAE,” said Guido de Wilde, chief operating officer for the Middle East at Marriott International. “Dubai is a key market for longer stay travel, and we know that as travelling styles have evolved, there is greater demand for accommodations which offer flexibility and home comforts for business travellers and families.”
Residence Inn by Marriott Al Jaddaf features a Grab n Go Market for guests who don’t feel like doing a significant amount of cooking in their apartment, alongside a complimentary grocery-delivery service for those who do. There’s also a 24-hour gym and fitness centre, laundry facilities, a meeting room and a boardroom, plus a rooftop pool and Jacuzzi.
