A ribbon-cutting ceremony has been held to mark the debut of Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton in the southern Caribbean Sea.

The Curio Collection by Hilton brand has been bolstered by the addition of a new member on the island of Curaçao.

A growing collection

Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour, with those in attendance including owner Atilay Uslu, general manager Biray Öğüt and operations manager Mehmet Fersiz. Located in Willemstad near downtown Otrobanda and Punda, this all-inclusive scheme – owned by Corendon Hotels & Resorts and managed by Corendon Curacao Holding – is officially now part of Hilton Worldwide’s prestigious Curio Collection.

“The grand opening celebration is the culmination of many months of hard work and collaboration with city officials to bring Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao All-Inclusive Resort to life,” said Öğüt. “It is incredibly rewarding to have the unwavering support of the community and our local leadership, and we want to thank them for helping to make this project possible.”

Adventure and tranquility

Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort is now hosting guests in 399 spacious guestrooms, while the property also boasts nine dining outlets, which include pool and beach bars, specialty restaurants and a cigar and rum-tasting lounge.

Among the other onsite amenities are a fitness centre, four pools, spa cabanas and a premium waterpark with six family-friendly water slides, not least the infamous King Cobra. Guests benefit from access to the resort’s private beach, plus activities such as diving, beach volleyball and shuffleboard.

During their stay, guests can venture out to the island’s many beaches or walk over to the shops of historic Willemstad. The resort is also conveniently located just five miles from Curaçao’s international airport.
