The luxurious Mandarin Oriental hotel in Geneva has taken steps to entice more business travellers by revamping its conference and events wing.

Fans of Mandarin Oriental‘s Geneva outpost have long prized the hotel’s prime riverside location, right on the banks of the Rhône with views of The Old Town set against picturesque snow-capped mountains. Now, the 181-room property has boosted its appeal even further with an overhaul of its entire six-room 1,085 sq m conference and events wing on the first floor. We take a look at what’s on offer.

Top technology

Following last year’s successful launch of the hotel’s Royal Penthouse – its exclusive signature suite – the latest renovation involves an interior design refresh alongside a significant technology upgrade.

And so, alongside the usual bells and whistles like fast, high-quality wireless bandwidth, LCD projectors and incorporated screens, there are also visual experts available to help transform presentations with state-of-the-art equipment.

Meanwhile, a dedicated conference planner is on hand to ensure the smooth running of each event, with final trimmings including access to the hotel’s in-house florist, concierge staff and catering services, alongside stringent Covid19 safety measures incorporated in the group’s We Care programme.

Uplifting interiors enhanced by wellness offerings

Aesthetically, the mood is uplifting, the new colourful fabrics overlaid with bespoke pieces by contemporary Brussels-based Lebanese artist Jean Boghossian, which are illuminated by the abundance of natural light.

All of which aims to provide the ideal setting for guests to take advantage of the group’s Mindful Meetings programme. A progressive approach to meetings, the initiative incorporates wellness elements from yoga sessions and guided meditations to nourishing cuisine, said to help drive better results.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is an international hotel investment and management group with deluxe and first-class hotels, resorts and residences in sought-after destinations around the world.
