Attractively located on the shores of the Bosphorus, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s latest luxury scheme features a 3,500 sq m spa and three expansive ballrooms.
Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul has started hosting travellers keen to soak up the atmosphere of Turkey’s largest city.
A heightened presence in Turkey
This new Mandarin Oriental property places guests in an ideal location just 15 minutes from the central business district, as well as Taksim Square. It lies across from the Kuruçeşme and Bebek parks, an easy walk from the nightlife of Kuruçeşme and a short drive from a number of major attractions, museums and historic sites.
“We are delighted to be opening this stunning urban resort in one of the world’s most exciting destinations and look forward to bringing Mandarin Oriental’s renowned quality of service to Istanbul,” said Christoph Mares, COO for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. “This marks the group’s second entry into Turkey, and promises to be the perfect complement to the award-winning Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum, which opened in 2014.”
Istanbul’s new luxury retreat
Catering for leisure and business travellers across 100 rooms and suites, the urban resort houses a number of restaurants and bars, as well as extensive event space and the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Spa.
The hotel aims to attract particular attention for its dining and entertainment offering, which includes bringing the globally renowned Novikov concepts to Istanbul. Its Novikov restaurant sits right on the shorefront, and this is joined by the classic Novikov Lounge Bar and Novikov Pool Bar; also worth highlighting is Bosphorus Lounge, with its appealing waterfront terrace.
Meanwhile, guests can make the most of the wellness facilities at the spa, which encompasses treatment rooms, hammams, private relaxation areas, fitness facilities, and indoor and outdoor pools. And events for both corporate and celebratory occasions can be hosted in three huge ballrooms, a garden terrace and pool area and six meeting rooms, as well as an additional open space.
The hotel is situated less than an hour away from the Istanbul and Sabiha Gökçen international airports.
