Boasting newly renovated areas by StudioCaid, the former Millennium Paris Opera has been totally reimagined, with telling nods to nearby landmarks like Palais Garnier and the Louvre.
Situated in the heart of the French capital, M Social Hotel Paris Opera has already started dazzling guests with its art deco charms.
A multimillion-euro renovation project
This 163-key hotel, M Social’s first European outpost, has finally opened after €5.4 million was spent on refurbishing the former Millennium Paris Opera to create a more contemporary option on Boulevard Haussmann. The new lifestyle hub aims to combine the elegance of the City of Light with modern design, vibrant art and inviting rooms.
M Social Hotel Paris Opera’s impressive guest experience begins in the art deco foyer, which benefits from the inclusion of marble surfaces and ornate chandeliers, plus a glass-roofed cupola. The architect behind the property’s newly renovated areas, StudioCaid, describes the concept as an exchange of styles emphasising the contrast between classicism and modernity.
Showcasing the hotel of today
The refreshed scheme’s design incorporates artistic flourishes inspired by nearby buildings like the Palais Garnier and the Louvre in an effort to create the ‘hotel of today’.
In terms of accommodation, travellers have a range of options to choose between, ranging from Signature rooms with views of the peaceful inner courtyard to Grande Sweetie suites providing breathtaking vistas across to the opera house or Sacré-Cœur. There’s also a domed brasserie specialising in classic French cuisine and lounge bar La Bibliothéque, offering cosy fireside nightcaps in memorable surroundings.
