LXR Hotels & Resorts prepares for its debut in the Americas
Zemi Beach House Hotel & Spa in Anguilla by LXR Hotels
The brand’s first property in the Americas will be the Zemi Beach House Hotel & Spa in Anguilla.
LXR Hotels & Resorts, which is Hilton’s luxury collection brand that first launched late last year, has now announced that it will be making its debut in the Americas.
LXR will be making that debut with Zemi Beach House Hotel & Spa in Anguilla, which will mark Hilton’s own first-even property in that country. When it opens, the Zemi Beach House Hotel & Spa will be a 65-room beachfront hotel. It is slated to become part of the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand in November 2019, after the conclusion of a two-month annual closure.
“Representing LXR’s debut in the Americas, the addition of Zemi Beach House to our carefully curated portfolio showcases our commitment to finding the right product and upholding our standards for authenticity and inspiring destinations,” said Martin Rinck, executive vice president and global head, Luxury & Lifestyle Group, Hilton. “We are honored to have this world-renowned resort join LXR as one of the founding properties in the growing collection of unique and best-in-class hotels.”
A true luxury resort
When the property makes its debut, it will officially be called the Zemi Beach House Hotel & Spa — LXR Hotels & Resorts.
It will also continue to be owned, operated, and managed by the Goldstein Family of New York City. The property is among the most luxurious resort experiences in all of Anguilla, a British overseas territory in the Caribbean.
“On behalf of my family, we are excited to become part of LXR’s wonderful collection of properties,” said Jeff Goldstein. “We built Zemi in 2016 on a dazzling, pristine beach in fashionable Anguilla with lots of love and attention and a great team. We look forward to sharing Zemi, our beach and our 300-year old Thai House, which houses our spa, yoga classes and relaxation deck, with Hilton’s worldwide travelers.”
A Stunning Location
The hotel also will retain its world-class tropical location, obviously.
Indeed, the hotel is set on a pristine beach, where it spans six luxurious acres and is nestled on the secluded Shoal Bay East, which itself is on the northeast coast of Anguilla. It’s accessible from St. Maarten International Airport with a quick 15-minute sea shuttle. One can also reach it directly with small carriers and private jets flying into Anguilla’s own International Airport.
Past accolades for the hotel include being recognized as one of the Best Hotels in the Caribbean by Travel + Leisure for three consecutive years. It has also been ranked as the top hotel in Anguilla and the second place hotel in the entire Caribbean by U.S. News & World Report.
“A highly rated and trending hotspot in the Caribbean, Anguilla is on track for a record-breaking season this year as it continues to evolve as a high-end tourist destination,” said Juan Corvinos, vice president, development, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton. “We recognize that the demand for more branded luxury products in the Caribbean that offer personalized attention and immersive experiences is paramount, and this aligns fully with the identity of LXR Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio. We look forward to opening Zemi Beach House Hotel & Spa as an LXR hotel this winter and to introducing more hotels to the LXR brand in the Caribbean in the following months.”
