The newly acquired Hotel 1000, which boasts 120 elegant rooms just steps from the waterfront, is transitioning to Hilton Worldwide’s luxury collection brand this month.

Hilton Worldwide has signed an agreement with Lighthouse Investments and ESI Ventures, which bought Hotel 1000 in June 2021 with equity financing from Kildare Partners, to turn the property into LXR’s latest outpost over the next few weeks.

Expanding LXR’s portfolio

Bringing together luxury properties that thrive independently, LXR comprises top-tier properties that retain their unique identity and provide a locally immersive experience. As part of the collection, they are backed by the Virginia-headquartered hospitality giant, and enjoy the benefits of being part of the Hilton Honors rewards programme.

“As the debut LXR Hotels & Resorts property in the Pacific Northwest, Hotel 1000 signals Hilton’s commitment to expanding our luxury portfolio in sought-after urban and resort destinations,” said Feisal Jaffer, global head, LXR Hotels & Resorts.

“During the course of 2021, we will welcome five handpicked new members to the LXR collection, a testament to our focus on curating a selection of independent hotels and resorts that offer a bespoke experience for our discerning guests and drive superior returns for our owners. LXR embraces properties with unique aesthetic and design, while amplifying their position within the destination as an authentic immersive experience.”

An introduction to the locale

The guestrooms of this 120-key property provide panoramic views over Seattle and impressive in-room amenities, including signature pedestal bathtubs, glass showers and custom furnishings. Hotel 1000, which is transitioning to LXR this month, is also home to destination restaurant and bar All Water Seafood & Oyster Bar, offering fresh, local seafood with regional wines from an extensive wine cellar.

This offering is joined by a full-service spa, fitness centre, sauna and salon, as well as seven flexible event rooms, a boardroom and an all-weather greenhouse terrace. Altogether, the hotel has 9,100 sq ft of event space.

Hotel 1000 sits at the intersection of First Avenue and Madison Street, making it the ideal base for getting to know downtown Seattle. The scheme is also just moments from the waterfront along Elliott Bay and close to popular sites such as Pike Place Market and Seattle Art Museum.
