The Altair Hotel, showcasing design from Interiors by Steven GA, provides a stylish new accommodation option within easy reach of Biscayne Bay on Bay Harbor Islands.

This exciting property combines an intimate hotel experience with resort-like amenities.

Modern coastal style

The Altair Hotel, a boutique scheme overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, is close to both Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Miami International Airport. Interiors by Steven G created the design of this 96-key property at 9540 West Bay Harbor Drive, bringing a modern coastal beach house aesthetic to the building.

Guests can stay in bright and spacious one-bedroom rooms, studio suites and two-bedroom corner suites with contemporary furnishings in neutral tones, luxurious fixtures and floor-to-ceiling windows. And in a move likely to appeal to multigenerational families in particular, each of the larger suites comes with a fully functioning kitchen.

A resort-like experience

During their stay, guests can retreat to the rooftop pool and whirlpool with panoramic views and cabana-style seating, take in the waterfront views afforded by the lobby and make use of the onsite fitness centre. Services on offer here, meanwhile, include valet parking, a 24-hour reception with concierge capabilities, in-room dining, poolside attendance and housekeeping.

The property caters for the Jewish community with a kosher breakfast and Shabbat elevator, and it’s set to welcome a high-end kosher restaurant soon, along with a more extensive kosher cuisine programme encompassing poolside service and in-room dining.

The Altair Hotel, which was developed by PPG Development, is being managed by Highgate.
