LOTTE HOTEL WORLD, a classic upper-upscale hotel of LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS, South Korea’s largest hotel group, reopened in June after renovation work.

LOTTE HOTEL WORLD is one of the LOTTE HOTEL brands that are located in major cities around the world with excellent connectivity to the localities. Songpa-gu, Seoul, where LOTTE HOTEL WORLD is located, boasts splendid scenery featuring LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE, the world’s largest indoor amusement park. Favoured by families and business travellers since its opening in 1988, LOTTE HOTEL WORLD is introducing new rooms and a club lounge after its first renovation work in over 30 years.

Overall hotel interiors were conducted by HBA, a global hotel interior design group, under the concept of ‘Simple & Modern’. The design of the rooms puts family visitors in mind, and the 255 rooms had 19 types in three classes – deluxe, premier and suite.

Especially noteworthy are rooms with sofa beds and bunker beds, which provide extraordinary experience stays to ever-curious children. Rooms offer comfortable space, enough for four guests without additional beds. Moreover, a panoramic view of downtown Seoul is visible, including the city’s landmarks such as LOTTE WORLD TOWER and LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE.

Suite rooms offer a premium air purifier by Molekule, which kills 99.9% of viruses, and an air shower that quickly dries up the body after a shower. These reflect the recent trend emphasising hygiene and cleanliness. Massage chairs and thermal massagers are provided as well, which is another endeavour of the hotel to care about the health of guests.

Club Lounge was reborn as a place to find a balance between work and rest, following changes in lifestyle caused by Covid19.

Particularly noteworthy is the L-Library, of a modern and comfortable ambience with a gold and gray tone, offering a convenient reading environment for tablet devices. Visitors have unlimited, complimentary access to about 60,000 e-books. Also available via application streaming are newspapers, magazines and multimedia content such as YouTube.

Meeting rooms are good for business meetings as they offer smart TVs on which one can deliver high-definition presentations, as well as electronic blackboards and signage TVs.

Furthermore, exotic and healthy menus such as hummus, pita bread and poke are offered in line with the wellness trend. During the Happy Hour, dishes are freshly cooked and served at Live Station, and the main menus differ every day, giving a wide variety of choices.

The hotel has also upgraded its contactless technology services by grafting state-of-the-art technologies. The Delivery Robot being operated as a service helper in the lobby provides welcome amenities, adding convenience and fun. Each room is also equipped with the AI speaker ‘GiGA Genie’, which allows guests to request amenities or concierge services as well as control air conditioning, heating, lighting and various online streaming services. A smart concierge provides information on popular attractions and restaurants in Seoul, and an unmanned currency exchange kiosk offers contact-free service.

Marking its 33rd anniversary this year as the leading hotel of Songpa-gu, Seoul, LOTTE HOTEL WORLD gathers anticipation to be a new urban landmark hotel by being an excellent place for business, relaxation and fun from the large-scale tourism and shopping complex nearby.
