Located in Songpa-gu, Seoul, LOTTE HOTEL WORLD, a classic upper upscale hotel of LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS unveiled its grand re-opening.

Operated by South Korea’s largest hotel group, LOTTE HOTEL WORLD has been favoured by families and business travelers since its opening in 1988. The hotel went through its first renovation for the upper floors and club lounge which opened in June 2021, followed by second renovation for the lower floors and fitness for the grand re-opening.

Through the renewal, LOTTE HOTEL WORLD aims to embrace all guests by providing pleasant spaces, contents and services based on the theme of ‘Trendy Leisure Five Star Hotel’.

First, LOTTE HOTEL WORLD replaced the previous plastic room key cards with walnut key cards to align with ESG management. It enhanced eco-friendly values since carbon emission occurred from the existing ones could be reduced to 97%.

Total four types of 244 guest rooms were newly presented for the grand re-opening. The room types comprise of deluxe, character, residential, and Korean styled suites, enabled to satisfy the needs of families and business travellers.

What draws attention is that the number of character themed rooms was increased from 30 to 52 for families. Along with 22 Bread Barbershop themed rooms showcased in the first renovation, ▲10 LottyLorry rooms ▲20 Kakao Friends rooms were newly added this time. Decorated with cute animals and drawings of characters, character themed rooms are expected to evoke children’s curiosity and provide new accommodation experience.

Lotty and Lorry are symbols of LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE, the largest indoor theme park in the world adjacent to the hotel. Nine family twin rooms and one suite are LottyLorry themed, to meet the preferences of families.

18 Family twin rooms and two suites comprise of Kakao Friends rooms. In more than half of the rooms can overlook LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE, which offers a fairy-tale-like experience.

Furthermore, LOTTE HOTEL WORLD introduced residential rooms, to align with the latest trend where hotels are spotlighted as long-term residence. Junior suites, deluxe double and twin rooms comprise of the 42 residential rooms. The rooms are equipped with essential appliances such as built-in refrigerator, washer and microwave to enhance convenience of long-term guests and business travellers.

Meanwhile, LOTTE HOTEL WORLD is one of the LOTTE HOTEL brands located in major cities around the world with excellent connectivity to the localities. The hotel’s neighbourhood boasts splendid scenery featuring LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE, LOTTE WORLD MALL and LOTTE WORLD TOWER, the landmark of Korea.
