About Lotte Hotel Seoul
Since its grand opening in 1979, Lotte Hotel Seoul has accommodated countless tourists and business clientele from all over the world. It boasts 1,015 rooms and has two towers (Main & Executive tower) to it. The Main Tower houses 737 rooms and the Executive Tower 278 guest rooms. Re-opened in September 2018, the Executive Tower was refurbished under the concept of contemporary classic and was designed by the GA Group, a UK-based internationally renowned interior design company.
All rooms are equipped with “Beautyrest The One,” which was developed based on Primo, a premium model of Simmons’ Beautyrest Collection. The Royal Suite (460.8㎡), the largest of its kind in Korea, is equipped with Beautyrest Black, also the largest bed available in Korea. As Simmons’ most premium mattress collection called “Black Label,” Beautyrest Black is known for its unmatched technology and craftsmanship among enthusiasts. The C. Bechstein grand piano is placed in the living room. It also has private fitness area equipped with Italy’s premium brand, TechnoGym.
Exclusive Services
Executive Tower has the largest club lounge in Korea. First to be seen is the Reception (15F). Inspired by traditional Korean motifs, the reception area creates an antique, comfortable atmosphere. Private meeting rooms and business services are also available, and front desk receptionists will provide one-on-one check-in and check-out services privately while customers comfortably sit on the lobby couch without needing to wait in line.
Le Salon (16F), a luxury executive lounge exclusive for in-house guests, is a premium dining area where breakfast, light snacks, afternoon tea, and happy hour and bar services are available. In particular, there is a Live Station where professional bartenders and baristas are always at your service and section chefs cook food on the spot. Together, they will surely deliver special satisfaction to gastronomy fans.
Services have also become more delicate and diverse. First, all suites have a Valet Box so that you do not need to ask staff for laundry service.
Leading fine dining trend in Korea
On the 35th floor of the Executive Tower of Lotte Hotel Seoul is the French restaurant Pierre Gagnaire à Séoul overseen by French chef Pierre Gagnaire. His unique signature French cuisine with modern sensibilities has earned him the nickname “Picasso of Gastronomy.” Pierre Gagnaire à Séoul is the only French restaurant in Korea that earned two stars for the first time when the Korean (Seoul) edition of Michelin Guide started in 2017.
On the 38th floor of Lotte Hotel Seoul is the restaurant Mugunghwa, the oldest five-star hotel restaurant in Korea. The Korean restaurant has lived up to its name, Mugunghwa or rose of Sharon, the country’s national flower, with pride and passion to create authentic Korean taste. Based on authentic traditional Korean cuisine, the restaurant has evolved over time incorporating various recipes and modern elements, such as interior decoration, tableware, and presentation.
Lotte Hotel Seoul also offers variety of international cuisines from Japanese restaurant Momoyama, Chinese restaurant Toh Lim, upscale buffet La Seine, to an Italian All Day Dining, Peninsula Lounge & Bar. It also has 14 banquet halls that could hold small sized events to large international conferences.
Premium Korean Herbal Medicinal Anti-Aging Spa, Sulwhasoo
Sulwhasoo spa was created under the collaboration of Korean premium skin care brand, AmorePacific. The spa aims to bring the value of harmony and balance to guests’ lives. The interior provides modern and neat Korean ambience by decorating with curves and using warm, bright colour on materials. It encompasses oriental elements such as natural stones, trees, silk and embroidery. The artwork in the spa was also specially selected to show the brand philosophy and heritage. In particular, the spa has a large embroidery artwork which is Hommage to that of apricot flower in Joseon Dynasty palaces, as well as waxed apricot flower and pottery which were also enjoyed a century before.
In each spa program offers treatment using essence and cream from Sulwhasoo’s skin care line, which its efficacy has already been proven in Korean cosmetic market. The signature program ‘Ultimate Restorative Journey’ is for anti-aging, using sage and ginseng extract cream and pine tree ingredient. Another recommended program is ‘Intense Ginseng Journey’ which also focuses on anti-aging and is popular among global fans of Korean cosmetic.
