New interior design firm Campbell House has announced that well-known industry figure Darrell Long will oversee the creative direction of its US and upcoming EMEA studios.

A founding partner of Campbell House, Darrell Long will draw on his wealth of experience in luxury hospitality design to shape the firm’s creative voice.

Innovation and storytelling

Self-described as a modernist designer, Long brings more than 25 years of design experience to his new role with Campbell House. In this crucial position, he’ll oversee the creative direction of the firm’s US and upcoming EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Asia) design studios.

“In building our core leadership team at Campbell House, the role of creative guru is one of utmost importance,” said Beth Campbell, CEO of Campbell House. “Luckily for us we have one of the top innovative and storytelling minds in the business, at the helm as our creative voice – Darrell Long.

“From the moment we met we were instantly connected as our obvious passion for design, innovation and client service were made apparent even in that first conversation. We solidified a ‘we don’t want to be the biggest – we want to be the best’ philosophy.

“As we started our creative house, I could not think of a stronger design partner to lead the creative talent at Campbell House. We truly believe we are stronger together.”

Setting standards for luxury hospitality design

Before joining Campbell House, Darrell Long was the regional managing director of Wilson Associates, and prior to that he was partner and design director at HBA. Through these roles, Long has endeavoured to set the standard for luxury hospitality design, combining comfort with innovation and technology.

“I am proud to announce that I have joined Beth Campbell’s namesake venture and her merry band of creatives at Campbell House as founding partner-creative,” said Long.

“I learned that the intensely intelligent tenets we both discussed ad nauseum are now creatively embraced, lovingly preached and diligently practiced. It is the most beautiful culmination of everything we all have learned… and our philosophy of wanting to be the best is now realistically my mantra, and it is irrepressibly attainable.”

Campbell House, founded in early 2021, is a full-service interior design firm that currently has studios in Las Vegas, LA, Dallas and New York.
