Owned and managed by Insignia Hospitality Group, the latest TownePlace Suites by Marriott property in Texas has been designed with the needs of extended-stay travellers in mind.

Set in the heart of the Texan city of Midland, the recently launched TownePlace Suites by Marriott Midland South/I-20 will offer guests 92 light-flooded suites and an array of modern amenities. We find out more about the property.

Fully equipped kitchens as standard

While all stay lengths are possible at TownePlace Suites, long-stay guests in particular will no doubt appreciate the hotel’s wide range of amenities.

For example, it offers studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, plus separate living and sleeping areas. Adjustable workspaces and complimentary Wi-Fi also make it the perfect place for residents to fly through to-do lists and free up a few hours to explore Midland or use the property’s outdoor Weber grills for an impromptu barbecue.

Meanwhile, the onsite 24-hour fitness centre, as well as the wholesome food options at the In a Pinch market, will help guests pursue healthier lifestyles while away from home.

“We are excited with the continued growth of the TownePlace Suites brand in the Midland area,” said Diane Mayer, vice president and global brand manager, TownePlace Suites at Marriott International. “At TownePlace Suites, we get it. We want to go above and beyond to do everything we can to make our guests feel comfortable.

“We encourage our guests to be real, and help them to do so by providing a seamless residential atmosphere with a friendly staff who genuinely care about our guests. That is what our brand is all about, and this property is a great example of that.”

Creating local connections in Midland

Local experiences are always a key selling point for the TownePlace Suites brand, and its latest property is no exception. Staff are trained about nearby attractions, events and other happenings, so they can encourage guests to make the most of their stay, while the hotel’s location also allows for easy access to the city’s top dining venues, entertainment and cultural facilities, including the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center, Midland Park Mall, the Museum of the Southwest and the Midland County Horseshoe Arena.

Located at 912 Crump Street, the hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, but will be owned and managed by Midland-based Insignia Hospitality Group.
