Lodging Dynamics adds Utah hotel to Tribute Portfolio

The 128-key property is set to undergo a $21-million renovation, joining Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of independent, boutique hotels

Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group, a leading hotel management company, has announced the upcoming conversion of Park City Peaks Hotel into Hotel Thaynes, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. Scheduled for completion in October 2025, the renovation will introduce a modern yet nostalgic take on mountain hospitality while staying true to the property’s deep connection to Park City’s rich heritage.

A comprehensive renovation with top-of-the-line amenities

Highlighted by bold colors and striking art installations, the comprehensive renovation will seamlessly blend common areas, guest rooms, and other spaces with Tribute Portfolio’s signature warm and eclectic design. Here are some of the features and amenities guests can expect:

  • Premium in-room amenities
  • Expansive, spa-inspired bathrooms with walk-in showers and ample vanity space
  • Dedicated ski storage areas
  • Versante Hearth + Bar, the hotel’s on-site restaurant
  • A well-equipped fitness center and steam room
  • Outdoor fire pits and BBQ area
  • An indoor pool and an expanded sauna, plus a heated outdoor pool and hot tub

A modern homage to Park City’s past

Situated in the heart of Park City, Utah, Hotel Thaynes is located just minutes from Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort. The hotel’s redesign takes inspiration from Park City’s pioneering spirit, paying homage to the legendary Thaynes Canyon mining district through thoughtfully curated artwork, design, and immersive guest experiences.
