PY Hotels & Resorts has completed the refurbishment of Hotel Fariones, a luxurious 213-room property in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote.

September 2020 marked the official opening of the five-star hotel following a significant revamp. Aiming to attract a younger clientele, the property boasts a prime beachfront location and an array of attractive amenities.

Laid-back luxury in Lanzarote

Making the most of its prominent location in the heart of the town of Puerto del Carmen, the hotel is positioned as a laid-back destination that takes full advantage of the island’s year-round sunshine and good vibes.

The property, which is owned by PY Hotels & Resorts, was recently transformed by a significant renovation project. Its guest rooms and suites cater for individuals, couples and groups of up to four adults, with the highlight being the 150 sq m Royal Suite Fariones, which benefits from a generous outdoor terrace and its very own private jacuzzi. All of the rooms and suites offer impressive panoramas of the sea and sky.

Infinity pools, cocktails and more besides

Hotel Fariones promises ample room for guests to relax, rejuvenate and soak up the rays that beat down on this popular Canary Island. An infinity pool provides a sea view, and two jacuzzis give a slice of island life, surrounded by palm trees and verdant vegetation. There’s also a rooftop pool from where the impressive sunsets can be appreciated fully, and the property has direct access to an idyllic sandy cove and the Playa Grande beach.

In addition, the property has a variety of F&B outlets onsite, ranging from grab-and-go to gourmet cuisine. Erizo serves fresh local seafood, while La Barra offers light meals and Bella Lucía has an international buffet catering to all tastes; Asian restaurant Kaori, meanwhile, is set to open soon. There’s also a choice of four bars, serving everything from fresh juices to signature cocktails, and guests can take their pick from a plethora of activities such as tennis, golf, water sports and fitness classes during their stay.
