SBE and World of Wonders Real Estate Development have announced that the towering SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences will make its debut in the second quarter of 2021.
Rising a remarkable 75 storeys high, SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences is on the verge of becoming one of the world’s tallest hotels. It’ll also be the seventh SLS hotel globally, with 17 more openings planned across North America, South America and Asia over the next five years.
An unmissable debut
In collaboration with World of Wonders Real Estate Development, SBE is preparing to launch SLS Dubai in the second quarter of the year. The property, located in Downtown Dubai’s Burj Khalifa District, will boast 254 guest rooms, 321 guest apartments and 371 branded residences in total.
“We are excited to open our first SLS hotel in the Middle East in collaboration with Mehmet Nazif Gunal, founder and chairman of World of Wonders Real Estate Development, and his incredible team,” said Chadi Farhat, chief operating officer of SBE.
According to the TOPHOTELCONSTRUCTION online database, 153 hotel projects are currently in the pipeline in Dubai:
Sky-high splendour
The new hotel will be home to SBE’s signature culinary concepts: Fi’lia, an authentic Italian restaurant on the 70th floor, and the 74th-floor contemporary steakhouse Carna by Dario Cecchini. These will be joined by the S Bar mixology lounge in the 71st-floor Sky Lobby, the rooftop nightlife venue Privilege, the LA-inspired cafe ElleMia and the exclusive 12 Chairs Caviar Bar.
Guests will also be able to make use of the state-of-the-art fitness centre and retreat to the 69th-floor Ciel Spa, housing seven treatment rooms, steam rooms, experience showers, plunge pools and a salon. And the hotel’s rooftop will feature two infinity pools – said to be the highest in the world – for eyepopping views over Dubai’s skyline, along with a day lounge and pool deck.
Dubai-based designer Paul Bishop is behind this property’s interiors, which are sleek yet contemporary, with artwork and design accents in keeping with the SLS brand’s distinctive identity. SBE subsidiary Dakota Development came up with the original concept development and provided design management services.
Elegance and beauty working in harmony with seamless operations give SLS the edge and help capture the imagination of guests.
