Ms Muckermann was previously responsible for leading Silversea Cruises, the ultra-luxury cruise line of the Royal Caribbean Group.
A background in luxury travel
She joins the iconic global luxury hospitality brand with 82 hotels in 36 countries at an exciting time, as Kempinski prepares for growth in new regions worldwide and more properties on the horizon, including the group’s first property in Vietnam.

A German native, having lived in Italy, France and the USA, Ms Muckermann is fluent in five languages and is a Doctor in Political Sciences and Economics and holds a joint MBA from Columbia and London Business School.

Kempinski Hotels is Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group, founded in 1897, and currently operates 82 residences with more than 34 projects in the pipeline around the globe.
Some of the most exciting Kempinski projects in the pipeline include a hotel in Brazzaville, several hotels in Saudi Arabia and a lodge in the Serengeti.
