Marriott Bonvoy’s JW Marriott brand has made its debut in Mexico´s second largest city with the opening of JW Marriott Hotel Guadalajara.
The new hotel promises a combination of meaningful design, exceptional service and a holistic approach to well-being based on the JW Marriott brand’s mindfulness principles.
Entry to Guadalajara
JW Marriott Hotel Guadalajara was developed by Grupo Favier and is now managed by Aimbridge Prisma. Located in the prestigious Guadalajara Country Club area, the property is surrounded by shopping and entertainment venues, as well as financial corporations.
Nearby attractions include the Historic Centre, the world heritage Hospicio Cabañas and the Pueblos Mágicos of Tequila and Chapala.
“We are proud to welcome JW Marriott Hotel Guadalajara into our growing portfolio of remarkable hotels in Mexico,” said Bruce Rohr, global brand leader, JW Marriott.
“Guadalajara is a bustling, dynamic, cultural centre of Mexico, one which sees business and leisure travellers from around the world. It is our hope to offer these guests a respite from the outside world, in a modern, luxurious setting for travellers who wish to nourish their mind, body, and spirit at every turn.”
A stylish new urban retreat
The urban retreat is home to 191 rooms and suites, including a presidential suite with its own lap pool and panoramic city views, all designed to evoke a residential feel.
This accommodation is joined by amenities including a 24-hour fitness centre, panoramic swimming pool and four meeting rooms accommodating up to 110 people.
The property features several dining experiences. Led by renowned chef Eduardo Palazuelos, Zibu offers gastronomy fusing Asian and Mexican flavours in a striking design-led setting. Breakfast and cocktails are also served in the hotel’s JW Executive Lounge.
The firm of Javier Sordo Madaleno is behind this property’s architectural design and the interiors were designed by Arquitectura de Interiores.
