Within these, we profile three stand out developments, spanning from a new towering Vietnamese landmark to a one-of-a-kind shipping container hotel in a Californian national park.
L’avenir Quy Nhon
L’avenir Quy Nhon is a towering ‘condotel’ taking shape on Vietnam’s southern central coast. Set to become a major landmark in the city of Quy Nhon, the elliptically-shaped property will span across 27 floors with a collective area of 25,300 sq m.
Combining both a 175-key four star hotel and 50 apartment residences, the skyscraper, billed as a ‘miniature city’ is the brainchild of developer Anh Vy Trading Company.
The first three levels will house the lobby, restaurants serving European and Asian cuisine and a luxury retail area, while the next 10 levels will host the guestrooms, with the top floors outfitted as condominiums, boasting panoramic views. Other amenities will include a cinema, ballrooms and an infinity pool facing Qui Nhon Bay.
Dormero Algeciras
The busy Spanish south coast hotel market is about to welcome a growing European name, with German-headquartered Dormero Hotels entering the Iberian peninsula for the first time.
Dormero Algeciras will be built by Q3 2025 with 160 rooms right next to the port terminal of Algeciras, the gateway between Europe and Africa.
The design will combine Mediterranean flair and North African style, while a property highlight will be a rooftop bar and pool with expansive views of Gibraltar.
Reset Hotel, Joshua Tree
Set for a Q1 2025, opening, Reset Hotel, Joshua Tree will be a one-of-a-kind shipping container hotel located within the Joshua Tree National Park in California, USA.
This 65-room property will serve as the flagship for the Reset brand, with the project combining state-of-the-art steel frame modular construction and a modern and minimalist approach to design.
With the key count including 25 suites, every room will have a generous private patio with mountain views and personal fireplaces. The common areas include an expansive swimming pool surrounded by a terraced garden, creating a desert oasis.
