Peru has welcomed its first Fairfield by Marriott property, a contemporary 147-key hotel in the popular Lima neighbourhood of Miraflores.

Fairfield by Marriott Lima Miraflores has opened its doors, enabling guests to experience a city-centre hotel where they can work, rest and play. We find out more.

Fairfield by Marriott checks into Lima

Peru’s bustling capital city Lima is now home to the country’s first Fairfield by Marriott hotel. Fairfield by Marriott Lima Miraflores is located in the main tourist district, giving guests convenient access to all of the metropolis’ most-visited highlights and attractions. The hotel is ideal for the modern traveller, whether they are in Lima for business or pleasure, or are mixing both by working remotely.

Fairfield by Marriott has become a beloved brand because of its commitment to its roots – offering a service that is personal, warm and simple, giving guests a seamless hospitality experience, something which is becoming ever more important in these difficult times. This is known as the Fairfield Guarantee – the brand’s guarantee that if a guest is unhappy with any element of their stay, it will be rectified then and there.

Strength and confidence in South America

As countries all over the world continue to reckon with the challenges of Covid19, South America faces its own battles. However, Peru in particular remains a key growth market for many hotel companies.

“The opening of the Fairfield by Marriott Lima Miraflores is a clear vote of confidence by Marriott International and V&V Grupo Inmobiliario, the owner of the hotel, in the Peruvian market. It is a strong sign of the commitment to help the reactivation of the local and global tourism sector,” said Laura Santoni, area vice president, Marriott International.

“Fairfield by Marriott Lima Miraflores complies with all local protocols and regulations, as well as Marriott’s Commitment to Clean programme that includes a multidimensional approach to cleanliness.”

Guests can choose from 147 rooms or suites with separate work and rest areas, designed to meet the needs of the contemporary traveller. The highlight of the hotel is surely the rooftop terrace, which affords panoramic views out over El Reducto Park. Other amenities include a Corner Market, shop, business centre and meeting rooms.

Fairfield by Marriott is a lower cost brand of hotels that are franchised by Marriott International.
