Ikos Resorts is celebrating its 10th year of operations with a spate of brand new luxury hotel openings and refurbishments.

New openings

Ikos’ next opening will be Ikos Kissamos in Crete.  This will be its first property on the iconic Greek island of Crete and is due to open in Spring 2026.

The new property will add to the group’s collection of seven award-winning, luxury all-inclusive hotels in beachfront locations across the Mediterranean.

Ikos Kissamos will be the brand’s first all-suite resort, set just 25 minutes from Chania Airport. The new opening is also within easy reach of several beaches, including Elafonisos, Falasarna and Balos Beach and lagoon.

Fresh renovations

Also coinciding with the brand’s 10th anniversary is the extensive renovation of Ikos Olivia Halkidiki, Greece.

The beachside retreat of 22 verdant acres was the brand’s first and original opening in 2015. Located on the white sands of the Gulf of Toroneos, the hallmark all-inclusive experience remains, but from April 2025, the resort will open fully redesigned.

This includes refurbished rooms and suites to complement the updated main building as well as new restaurants, bars and a new garden entrance.

Brand expansions

Ikos will also be expanding its Deluxe Collection category, with more rooms being added to the Deluxe Collection at Ikos Olivia, Halkidiki, Greece and at Ikos Odisia, Corfu, Greece.

The expansion will allow more guests to enjoy the upgraded experience, which includes best-in-class suites and additional luxuries such as complimentary spa treatments and access to exclusive areas. The expansion follows the successful 2024 expansion of Ikos Andalusia with the addition of new villas and four-bedroom penthouse suites.
