Brand growth across Saudi Arabia
In line with the demand for new accommodation offerings created by initiatives under Saudi Vision 2030, IHG is set to introduce Holiday Inn Express to a number of destinations across the country, starting with Jeddah.
This brand championing simple, smart travel will cater for the modern traveller visiting Saudi Arabia for either business or leisure, including Saudi Arabia’s biggest and growing demographic of millennials and Generation Z travellers.

Entry to Jeddah
The first Holiday Inn Express hotel to be signed within this agreement is Holiday Inn Express Jeddah, which is expected to open by June 2025.
The 300-key hotel will provide smart accommodation with amenities ranging from high-speed WiFi and smart TVs to premium bedding and pillow options in one of the busiest areas of the city on Al Madinah Road. Signature services will include complimentary Express Start Breakfast and speedy check-in.
Designed with the ‘Next Gen Smart traveller’ in mind, each of these Holiday Inn Express hotels in Saudi Arabia will open with reimagined public spaces and guest rooms combining trendy, efficient design with the local aesthetic. Guest experiences will reflect the target travellers’ lifestyle and needs, with public areas serving as lively and engaging spaces featuring a revamped food and beverage offering.
