IHG to bring Hotel Indigo to Jeddah

The British hospitality company has partnered with Dallah Real Estate Company to introduce its boutique hotel brand to the Saudi city as part of efforts to expand across the Middle East.
This forthcoming property will be among a new generation of IHG lifestyle hotels opening throughout Saudi Arabia in line with the country’s Vision 2030 plans.
Reflection of the area
IHG has signed a management agreement with Dallah Real Estate Company to open Hotel Indigo Resort in Durrat Al Arus to the north of Jeddah city centre in 2026. It’ll be the brand’s first hotel in Jeddah, and only the second anywhere in Saudi Arabia following on from its much-anticipated debut in the country’s capital, Riyadh.
Haitham Mattar, managing director in India, Middle East and Africa for IHG, said: “After debuting the brand in Riyadh, we are delighted to sign our second Hotel Indigo property in the country this year – Hotel Indigo Durrat Al Arus in Jeddah. In line with the Saudi Vision 2030 and the country’s Tourism Strategy, our luxury and lifestyle brands are gaining a lot of interest from our partners and investors.
“We are confident that upon opening, these properties will be equally popular with domestic and international travellers and will add to the authentic experiences guests will be looking for while visiting Saudi Arabia. We are also honoured to once again partner with Dallah Real Estate Company, who boast a great deal of expertise in this sector. Together, we look forward to welcoming our guests to this exquisite property when it opens its doors in 2026.”
Abdulaziz MA Yamani, managing director of Dallah Real Estate Company, added: “Given IHG’s history and strong legacy in the Kingdom, we are pleased to partner with them to offer our Saudi travellers and international guests a premium and authentic stay experience at Hotel Indigo Durrat Al Arus. The hotel will be positioned as a holistic destination for guests looking for adventure and an experiential stay. We are confident that this partnership will not only offer the best-in-class service to guests but also bring value to the business from IHG’s global systems and loyalty programme.”
An immersion into the destination
Situated along the Red Sea coast, the new resort will be positioned in the recreational neighbourhood of Durrat Al Arus as part of a mixed-use development that also includes man-made lagoons and homes. Its design will reflect the identity of this area, immersing guests in the location through its aesthetics and service style.
Guests will be accommodated in 271 boldly designed rooms and 50 private pool villas. This accommodation will be joined by wellness facilities, plus dining and drinking concepts drawing on the local cuisine for inspiration.
Dallah Real Estate Company has also partnered with marine adventure company 17Sixty to offer guests and locals sustainable experiences that’ll introduce them to the magnificent marine environment on the property’s doorstep.
