In partnership with Pro-Invest Hotels, the British hotel giant has announced the launch of a contemporary property with 312 rooms in the heart of Victoria’s state capital.

The design-led Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins provides a new accommodation option for travellers keen to explore one of Australia’s biggest cities.

Distinctive design

Opened in partnership with Pro-Invest Hotels, this new Holiday Inn Express-branded scheme places guests on one of Melbourne’s most iconic laneways amid the city’s best shopping, dining and cultural attractions. The property sports fresh contemporary interiors that reference New York style through a black-and-white mosaic feature wall, exposed copper pipes and vintage lighting.

The hotel’s expansive dining room, meanwhile, is distinguished by an exposed brick feature wall, vintage lamps and modern furniture, including vibrant red seating and a white marble counter-front.

Sustainable convenience and comfort

Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins encompasses 312 guestrooms comprising study nooks, walk-in power showers and an Express Recharge zone with premium bedding, pillow menu and blackout blinds. Travellers also benefit from access to high-speed wifi during their stay.

Signature services at this property include the complimentary Express Start Breakfast and the Express Start Breakfast Grab & Go option.

Proving its commitment to sustainability, the hotel is on track to earn Green Engage Level 1 Certification Partner status, and is aiming to have a minimum 4.5-star Nabers Energy & Water rating after 12 months of operation. The property’s also committed to reducing its reliance on plastic, having already phased out single-use plastics.

One of IHG’s fastest growing brands, Holiday Inn Express now has more than 3,000 hotels around the world. This new development in Melbourne represents Pro-Invest Hotels’ eighth Holiday Inn Express-branded scheme.
