Upcoming additions to the Vignette Collection include a hotel opening in the world’s biggest alpine-themed indoor ski park and a property positioned between desert dunes and the Arabian Gulf.
A growing collection
The coming year will see significant growth for IHG’s Vignette Collection as the portfolio of hand-picked properties welcomes 12 new additions.
Tom Rowntree, Vice President of Luxury & Lifestyle Brands at IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “Vignette Collection is a unique portfolio of individual hotels and resorts, each with their own story to tell. This year, we are making significant strides towards our ambition to open 100 new Vignette Collection properties within the next 10 years. From indoor skiing in Shanghai to soaking up the cool culture in Liverpool, 2024 will see an exciting array of unique hotels and resorts joining Vignette Collection.”
Launched in 2021, the Vignette Collection currently encompasses 11 hotels, with a total of 23 other properties now in the pipeline. One defining characteristic of the collection is the ‘A Means for Good’ initiative seen reflected through each property’s partnerships with local non-profit organisations. The brand’s ‘Memorable Rituals’ hallmark then endeavours to provide guests with meaningful travel encounters.
Rowntree commented: “Vignette Collection stands apart in IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury & lifestyle portfolio. It presents a compelling way for IHG to welcome one-of-a-kind hotels into our family, combining each property’s individual identity with the brand’s promise of ‘A Means For Good’, powered by IHG’s global scale and IHG One Rewards loyalty programme. Each hotel has a distinct outlook and story to tell but they come together as Vignette Collection.”
