Brand entry to the island

Following this signing, the former Pullman Nadi Bay will be converted into Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa. The multi-million-dollar refurbishment and extension will be led by a prominent interior design firm, P49 DEESIGN.

“We’re honoured to be working with Jay Singh (CEO of Wailoaloa Hotel Pte Ltd) and his team to be able to bring their vision of creating a world-class dining, leisure and business precinct to life, is incredibly exciting, and we know the Crowne Plaza brand will do an exceptional job of delivering heartfelt Fijian hospitality. The addition of this hotel will also give our IHG One Rewards members more choice when choosing to holiday in Fiji and we’re excited to be opening more doors for our loyal guests.”

Jay Singh commented: “We are excited to work with IHG to bring the Crowne Plaza brand to Fiji, and are passionate about creating a brand-new destination for travellers to Nadi, with a thriving food, beverage, spa, conferencing and lifestyle precinct along this special stretch of beachfront in Nadi.”

“We are proud to be contributing to the growth of the tourism industry in Fiji, providing visitors with a world-class experience that will further enhance Fiji’s reputation as a premier tourist destination. We look forward to welcoming guests to this beautiful property.”

Enhancement and expansion

Through the site’s renovation, the existing hotel’s 324 guest rooms will be refreshed and added to with brand-new two-bedroom family rooms and ocean-facing king suites.

A new day spa, featuring six double treatment rooms, will also be added to the property. A new 600-seat convention centre will complement the hotel’s existing event space.

On opening, the new Crowne Plaza hotel will feature seven food and beverage venues including a lobby bar, whisky bar, all-day dining restaurant, Italian restaurant, beach club and nightclub. These restaurant and bar concepts are created in collaboration with renowned food and beverage consultancy, Blue Salt.

In Fiji, Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa will join four other IHG properties: InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, Holiday Inn Suva, Six Senses Fiji and the Grand Pacific Hotel. The new hotel heightens IHG’s presence in Nadi.
