Set to open by mid-2024, Regent Jeddah will be the first hotel for the ultra luxury brand in the Middle East, beating the previously-announced Regent Riyadh KAFD which is part of a dual-branded development alongside Kimpton Riyadh – both currently slated to arrive in Q3 2024.

Located in one of the most prestigious waterfront locations in Jeddah, Regent Jeddah will provide uninterrupted views of the Corniche and Jeddah’s Formula 1 racetrack.
The debut of Regent in Saudi Arabia is aligned with the country’s Vision 2030 and will offer luxury experiences to a growing number of travellers visiting the Kingdom.
New generation
Regent Jeddah will encompass a collection of spaces reflecting taste and luxuries across 29 stories. The property will be one of the first new generation Regent Hotels to open globally. featuring close to 182 rooms facing the Red Sea, including five spacious penthouses.
The hotel will house a 1,500 sq m spa by Raison d’Etre, which is also known for its work with Six Senses Spa; a 200 sq m health club and indoor and outdoor pools, in addition to an array of epicurean experiences, including three concept eateries and lounge.

Luxury list
IHG currently operates 39 hotels across five brands in Saudi Arabia, including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites and voco, with an additional 30 hotels set to open within the next three to five years.
Notable luxury IHG developments in the country include Six Senses Amaala, set to open as part of the first phase of the Triple Bay development, with accommodation comprising 64 rooms, six suites, 30 villas, and 25 branded residences. Plus the 289-key InterContinental Dammam will arrive in Q1 2024 and Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel, Vignette Collection is heading to Al-Khobar on the country’s east coast in Q3 2024.
