IHCL signs lakeside SeleQtions hotel in Naukuchiatal

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a resort in Naukuchiatal, expanding its presence in Uttarakhand.

The existing property will be converted and rebranded into an IHCL – SeleQtions hotel. The renovation will include an expansion of the current site.

Transformation of a resort

India’s largest hospitality company, IHCL, is now set to embark on the transformation of this property in Naukuchiatal before relaunching it under its SeleQtions brand.

Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, IHCL said: “The signing of this hotel is in line with IHCL’s vision of expanding its presence in the leisure destinations. Naukuchiatal is a picturesque hill station in Uttarakhand’s lake district.”

A scenic setting

This 88-key resort spans four acres of land bordering Naukuchiatal Lake. In this setting, the resort offers views over the water and of the Himalayan foothills.

On the completion of its transformation, the resort will feature an array of dining options including an all-day dining restaurant, bar and specialty restaurant on decks overlooking the lake. Additional facilities will include a spa, fitness centre and swimming pool, as well as indoor and outdoor event space.
