The newly renovated Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay urban resort features 350 keys, including ten suites and 40 club rooms, as well as four attractive restaurants and bars.

Hyatt Hotel Corporation’s latest Japanese site provides a comfortable place to stay in Urayasu city of the Chiba Prefecture, close to attractions like Tokyo Disney Resort, the Odaiba district and Makuhari Messe convention centre, and just 30 minutes away from the centre of the Japanese megacity.

Strategic growth

As the eighth Hyatt Regency property in the Land of the Rising Sun, Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay forms part of the hospitality company’s strategic growth push in major cities across the country.

“We are proud to introduce the Hyatt Regency brand in Urayasu city and to welcome guests to this urban oasis which, with its picturesque views of Tokyo Bay, offers guests and their families a premium experience,” said Haruhiko Fujino, general manager of Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay. “The hotel is ideal for guests looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway close to Tokyo and is a convenient base for visiting attractions in the area.”

Rooms and amenities with a view

The hotel houses 350 guestrooms, including ten spacious suites and 40 club rooms, which are located on the ninth floor and above. The ground floor is then home to The Regency Club lounge for guests staying in a suite or club room.

Many guestrooms come with ocean views and some also have their own spacious terrace. The interiors are contemporary in character, filled with natural wood and highlights in blue and teal.

The property has four different restaurants and bars: The Garden Brasserie & Bar, specialising in international cuisine with a European flair; traditional Edomae sushi restaurant Sushi Ema; Teppanyaki Fukitei and The Rooftop Bar. Meanwhile, meetings and events are hosted in two function rooms, as well as the Garden Terrace; each function room spans 98 sq m and is equipped with projectors, audio equipment and soundproofing.

Finally, guests can keep fit during their stay by making the most of the 24-hour fitness centre, packed with modern equipment and space for yoga and weight training.
