The upscale hotel brand has launched a contemporary 171-key property ideal for corporate travellers at a prominent location in one of Australia’s biggest cities.
Surrounded by attractive parkland, Hyatt Place Melbourne Carribean Park is an exciting addition to Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s roster.
A burgeoning location
This new 171-room hotel at the Carribean Park business precinct in south-east Melbourne exemplifies the Hyatt Place brand’s signature hospitality offering, combining intuitive design and practical amenities with a casual atmosphere. The property has been developed by the Spooner family, who are also behind Caribbean Park.
Hyatt Place’s latest outpost is surrounded by 275 acres of natural parkland and aims to appeal to leisure as well as business travellers, with nearby attractions including the Dandenong Ranges, Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Phillip Island.
Nicole Pasqual, general manager, Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park, said: “With our smartly designed social spaces and guestrooms with separate work and sleep areas, our multitasking guests can easily accomplish what they need to do while on the road.”
Ben Spooner, director of Caribbean Park, added: “Caribbean Park is a vibrant precinct featuring the finest office accommodation and amenities alongside open green spaces and an ever-expanding selection of leisure amenities. The new Hyatt Place hotel caters to energetic professionals who seek work-life balance when on the road, reinforcing Caribbean Park’s position as Australia’s premier business park destination.”
Style meets convenience
The 171 guestrooms, including one- and two-bedroom suites, at Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park come with separate spaces for sleeping, working and playing, plus signature features including a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper.
A locally inspired breakfast is served each morning at the Breakfast Bar and freshly prepared meals are offered any time of the day and night at The Market. Local and seasonal produce is the focus at farm-to-table Archie’s Farm Restaurant & Bar, meanwhile, and coffee, premium beers, wines and cocktails can be enjoyed at The Bar.
Additional amenities within the property include a fitness centre and event space spanning 2,163 sq ft. Free wifi and a necessities programme for forgotten items add further to the hotel’s convenience.
Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park is only the upscale brand’s second hotel in Australia.
