Hyatt Place launches 117-room hotel in Vadodara

The upscale Hyatt Place brand is celebrating the opening of its fifth property in India, a contemporary scheme with extensive event facilities – including a huge pillarless ballroom.

This project marks another step in Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s ongoing expansion across the Indian subcontinent.

Venturing into Vadodara

Developed by Nilamber Infratech, Hyatt Place Vadodara occupies a prestigious position within a smart residential district of the Gujarati city. The prolific upscale brand aims to offer a stylish, innovative and convenient hospitality experience in a casual environment at all its sites, and this particular scheme is no exception.

Sunjae Sharma, vice president and country head for India at Hyatt, said: “As the city continues to thrive economically, we are excited to add to the momentum by welcoming guests with an ideal hotel for their stay in the city. With our smartly designed social spaces and guestrooms with separate work and sleep areas, our multitasking guests can easily accomplish what they need to do while on the road.”

Something for everyone

Hyatt Place Vadodara, which occupies a 3.1-acre site, promises to appeal to all types of travellers. A truly modern endeavour, the property’s 117 guestrooms are organised into separate zones for sleeping, working and relaxing, and the King Garden Rooms and King Suites even come with their own private garden.

There are a number of F&B options here, including industrial-themed restaurant Zing, where guests can enjoy buffets and food cooked on a teppanyaki throughout the day, and The Market, a casual eatery with a selection of coffees, pastries and international fare.

Meanwhile, business travellers can avail themselves of the 13,696 sq ft of flexible meeting and event space, not least an expansive 5,243 sq ft column-free ballroom and 3,793 sq ft of pre-function space, as well as a 12-person boardroom and multipurpose meeting room. Hyatt Place’s fifth property in India also features a fitness centre, free wifi and complimentary breakfasts.
