A boutique hotel in the heart of Vail Village, Colorado, inspired by Austrian Alps ski chalets, has joined the Destination by Hyatt portfolio.
The 25-room luxury Austria Haus Hotel features upscale accommodations, with the independently-owned Hyatt-branded property designed to reflect sophisticated European charm.
European luxury
Inside the Vail ski hotel, 19 guestrooms and six suites are thoughtfully appointed with luxurious features including air conditioning, modern-chic bathrooms featuring heated marble flooring, fine linens and alpine architecture. Spacious suites feature gas-log fireplaces and double soaking tubs.
Destination by Hyatt area general manager Kate Grattan said: “Austria Haus Hotel offers guests a revitalising retreat nestled in the heart of Vail Village, and truly serves as a place of discovery for travellers to indulge in life enriching experiences all year long.
“After a day of fun-filled adventures, we’re happy to welcome our guests back to refresh and socialise at our lobby bar, enjoy the outdoor heated pool and hot tub deck with breathtaking views of Vail Mountain and relax in their luxurious accommodations.”
Apres ski retreat
Austria Haus Hotel’s amenities and authentic aesthetic help recreate the essence of a European ski holiday at a family-owned ski lodge.
The US site can cater for après-ski relaxation and year-round swimming, with the outdoor heated pool overlooking the famed Covered Bridge over Gore Creek. Guests can also relax by the fire in the lobby lounge, enjoy a complimentary alpine-inspired breakfast buffet served daily or explore a new book from the hotel’s library.
