Hot new hotel hits Golden Mile Square
Montreal won’t have to wait much longer for one of the most hyped hotel openings in recent times, as the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal has announced the opening date of May 8th of this year.
This new, luxury hotel resides in a sleek and sophisticated property in Montreal’s bustling Golden Mile Square business and commerce district and boasts a wide range of accommodations to suit every type of traveller.
169 guest rooms cater to both business and leisure travellers, while 19 suites are ideal for corporate executives or those wanting to splash out for a special occasion.
18 private residences provide guests with that “home away from home” experience, but with the full convenience of a hotel at their service.
Four Seasons General Manager Gonçalo Monteiro spoke of the opening, saying, “We can’t wait to receive our local community, as well as world travellers, into our luxury ecosystem for the full Four Seasons experience, right in downtown Montreal. With summer and all its great festivals and events just around the corner, spring is the perfect time for us all to enjoy Montreal’s trendsetting style and culture.”
Social spaces and signature services
The Four Seasons Hotel Montreal brings guests the best in classic hotel service, married with the most up-to-date innovations in current hospitality trends.
Here guests can expect all of Four Seasons’ characteristic attention to detail, including access to 24-hour fitness facilities, a state-of-the-art spa, extensive meeting facilities and a luxury ballroom for events, as well as some gourmet dining options.
Renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson has put his stamp on the hotel’s eateries, which include the MARCUS Restaurant + Terrace and MARCUS Bar + Lounge.
Samuelsson has spoken of his delight at coming to Canada and is putting the focus squarely on sustainable offerings such as local seafood and raw vegetables.
However, perhaps the most exciting prospect about the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is the Social Square.
This conceptual space is designed to encourage visiting guests, intrepid travellers and curious locals to come together to exchange ideas and create some unforgettable experiences that could only take place in Montreal.
The MARCUS venues are interwoven with the fluid social spaces on the third floor, inviting patrons to mingle, eat and be merry.
