The scheme channels the site’s former life as a textile factory, and mixes heritage with modern architecture to create a truly unique hospitality venue, which is right by one of the city’s most important commercial centres, Adelaide Central Market.

Raw and Refined
Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets has a ‘Raw and Refined’ design ethos, which manifests itself in both the interiors and service offering.
Exposed brick in the common areas echoes the construction of the market buildings. Meanwhile, all 145 of the oversized guestrooms boast carefully curated posters and eye-catching headboards celebrating the renowned Adelaide Festival, along with copper fixtures and statement carpets complete with the tessellating tile pattern often seen on floors in the city’s houses.
The hotel, which includes 25 suites, also boasts Adelaide’s highest rooftop bar Merrymaker, allowing guests to look down on the city below and take in all the action as they enjoy locally produced wine or craft beer, and signature raw food made with fresh regional produce. Elsewhere, Market & Meander is an all-day dining venue on the ground floor, where guests can sample cuisine from around the world, as well as local fare.
In addition, there’s a 24-hour fitness centre, a 13-metre outdoor infinity pool and two boardrooms for meetings, while events can be held on either the mezzanine level or the rooftop.
