Home2 Suites by Hilton Phoenix Avondale has opened its doors, welcoming guests looking for a home away from home in Arizona’s state capital.
Helping travellers on the road
This sleek new property aims to give guests a decidedly domestic experience, but with all the convenience of a hotel, so they can maintain their routine as far as possible on the road. Home2 Suites by Hilton Phoenix Avondale boasts 127 suites specifically geared towards travellers staying for extended periods of time.
To facilitate this, suites are kitted out with flexible furniture in the living area, and fully equipped kitchens that allow guests to cook their own food before heading out to local attractions like the State Farm Stadium of the Arizona Cardinals, the Phoenix Raceway, the American Sports Center and Friendship Municipal Park.
Matt Hallinan, general manager, said: “We are excited to welcome sports enthusiasts, players and their families as well as the many tech professionals visiting our region to our hotel; it’s a great location and the newest Hilton in the market. Avondale has a lot of potential as an emerging market in west Phoenix, and we look forward to integrating with the surrounding business and athletic communities.”
A solar-powered hotel
Home2 Suites by Hilton Phoenix Avondale is particularly notable for its commitment to sustainability. It’s partnered with Scottsdale-based company SunRenu to ensure that the hotel’s powered almost completely by solar energy, while there are also five electric charging stations in the car park.
To make visitors feel right at home, the Home2 Suites by Hilton venue is pet-friendly and has complimentary wifi throughout. There’s also a gym and fitness centre onsite, while Home2 MKT offers a selection of grab-and-go items.
This all-suite hotel, owned by Avana Capital and managed by Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group, is just 20 minutes away from Phoenix Airport Sky Harbor and 25 minutes from downtown Phoenix.
