Located in downtown Bethesda, Maryland, guests at the hotel have convenient access to popular attractions in Washington, D.C.
The Tapestry Collection by Hilton has recently welcomed The Bethesdan Hotel to its portfolio.
This addition marks that brand’s first location in the state of Maryland in the U.S. Set in downtown Bethesda, guests at the hotel have convenient access to popular attractions in Washington, D.C.
They also have access to nearby local shops, restaurants, and other entertainment, all of which is just steps from the hotel’s front door.
“The Bethesdan truly embodies the experience Tapestry Collection is committed to delivering by offering remarkable accommodations in one-of-a-kind neighbourhoods,” said Jenna Hackett, global head, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
“Near Hilton’s headquarters and just minutes from the nation’s capital, The Bethesdan expands our footprint in the D.C. area, a key market for both business and leisure travellers alike. Looking ahead to the end of the year, this opening kicks off a particularly exciting period of development as we expand globally to cater to travellers’ desires for local experiences and distinctive hotels.”
According to the TOPHOTELCONSTRUCTION online database, 694 hotel projects are currently in Hilton’s pipeline:
Meet The Bethesdan Hotel
The Bethesdan Hotel is a stylish property with all 270 guest rooms offering floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the surrounding city.
And if that’s enough, guests can go up to the roof and enjoy cooling down at a pool that overlooks the Bethesda skyline (seasons permitting, of course).
Upon entering the hotel, guests are welcomed into a multi-use lobby, complete with a pool table and games, as well as a living room and library for those looking for a bit of rest and relaxation in a public space.
The hotel will also offer amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness centre and a one-of-a-kind mural created by a local artist on the outside of the building, specially picked to celebrate the local community.
“Having owned and managed hotels in Bethesda since the 1980s, we are delighted to bring to life The Bethesdan, the first lifestyle hotel in the market,” said Davin Driskill, senior vice president of TBC Hotels.
A long list of amenities
In addition to the style and location, the other major feature of the new property will be the long list of amenities and other extra touches.
The property will offer premier food and dining options for both guests and locals at on-site restaurant Leo & Liv, featuring fresh American dishes with a Mediterranean twist.
Following dinner, guests can indulge in cocktails, craft beer and wine at BFD (“but first drinks…”) before heading out to explore the city or relaxing in their room for the evening.
Boasting 20 meeting rooms and more than 15,000 square feet of functional meeting space, the hotel is well-suited for business travellers looking to host both small meetings and large-scale events.
Meeting planners, customized onsite catering and professional audio-visual services are available for any type of function.
