Hilton to enter Bosnia & Herzegovina with two new hotels

Hilton has announced the dual signing of Hotel Neretva Mostar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Mostar and Hampton by Hilton Sarajevo City Centre.

These two forthcoming hotels, which are set to debut by 2026, will be the first Hilton hotels to open in the country of Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Entry to the country

Through a franchise agreement with Intersped d.o.o. Sarajevo, Hilton is set to develop Hotel Neretva Mostar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton Sarajevo City Centre in prime central locations of Mostar and Sarajevo.

Commenting on the news, Simon Vincent, executive vice president and president, EMEA, Hilton, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Intersped d.o.o. Sarajevo to announce Hilton’s first two hotels in Bosnia and Herzegovina under our Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton brands.”

Two distinct hotel experiences

Of these two hotels, Hotel Neretva Mostar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton promises to capture the distinct style of the brand it’s a part of in space encompassing 80 guest rooms, a specialty restaurants and terrace, lobby bar and lounge, as well as an indoor pool, fitness centre and three meeting rooms.

Hampton by Hilton Sarajevo City Centre will then showcase sleek, modern design in its 98 guest rooms and Hampton by Hilton social spaces including a reception hub and bar. Amenities of the property will include a rooftop outdoor terrace, fitness facilities and meeting room pods.

In terms of location, Hotel Neretva Mostar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will have a prime location on the bank of the River Neretva in Mostar. Hampton by Hilton Sarajevo City Centre will place guests on the city’s prominent Maršala Tita Street, close to the famous old town.
