The 399-key Caribbean getaway, which is owned by Corendon Group, is set to open in September 2021 as part of the Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio.

Continuing Hilton Worldwide’s all-inclusive expansion drive, the conversion of this welcoming resort will also re-establish the hotel group’s presence in Curaçao.

The all-inclusive resort experience

In its next chapter as a Curio Collection property, Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort will offer curated experiences for adventurous travellers, while also catering for those in search of a tranquil Caribbean retreat.

“As we continue to grow our all-inclusive portfolio throughout the Caribbean and Mexico, we are thrilled to partner with Corendon Hotels & Resorts and open the largest all-inclusive resort on Curaçao,” said Pablo Maturana, managing director of development, South America & Caribbean, Hilton. “With more than 35 spectacular beaches, Curaçao serves as an ideal destination for tourists looking for a pristine natural environment, and we couldn’t be more excited to offer guests yet another option when booking their travel to the Caribbean.”

Atilay Uslu, founder of Corendon Group, added: “We are very pleased to partner with Hilton, a globally recognised leader in hospitality, and benefit from Hilton’s global brand awareness and award-winning guest loyalty programme.

“Starting September 2021, we look forward to welcoming Curio Collection by Hilton to the beautiful island of Curaçao. Our goal is to provide the very best service to our guests and Hilton Honors members and to show that Corendon’s hospitality is an added value for the Hilton brand.”

A milestone for Hilton

On reopening, the resort will offer nine dining venues, from pool and beach bars to specialty restaurants, along with leisure facilities such as a fitness centre and waterpark featuring six water slides – including the famed King Cobra. During their stay, guests can choose to take part in a range of activities like diving, beach volleyball and shuffleboard, or unwind at the resort’s four pools, spa cabanas and private beach.

The scheme is within walking distance of the shops in historic Willemstad and just five miles away from Curaçao’s international airport.

Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort is another prominent addition to Hilton Worldwide’s growing portfolio of all-inclusive properties in beachfront locations, following on from the opening of Tapestry Collection’s first all-inclusive resort, The Yucatan Resort, Playa del Carmen, last month. Hilton Cancun is to join the all-inclusive portfolio later this year.

“The signing of Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort marks a major milestone for the brand as we add the latest all-inclusive property to Curio Collection, a growing portfolio of more than 100 one-of-a-kind handpicked hotels and resorts around the world,” said Jenna Hackett, global brand head, Curio Collection by Hilton. “Nestled in a protected nature preserve with a gorgeous private beach, this beautiful resort will boast stylish accommodations, elevated dining experiences and premier services and amenities, all coming together to offer guests a truly unique travel experience.”
