On opening in spring 2025, Hilton Worldwide’s latest Ukrainian outpost will feature two swimming pools and provide direct access to Odessa’s beautiful sandy beaches.
An exciting new property aims to attract domestic and international travellers to the famous Black Sea resort.
A burgeoning destination
Hilton Worldwide has signed a franchise deal with developer Gefest Group to create Hilton Odessa, a 145-key beachfront property to be managed by Millennium Hospitality. The proposed scheme, which is spread across two buildings, involves transforming sites at Vannyi Lane near the Arcadia entertainment area and Primorskyi Lane.
Odessa is known for its 19th-century architecture, energetic culture and Black Sea beaches, as well as for being a key trade hub.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development in EMEA for Hilton, said: “There is clear opportunity for growth in Ukraine, with two hotels set to join our portfolio alongside Hilton Kyiv. Growing international interest in Odessa and robust domestic demand make Hilton Odessa an important addition to our European pipeline. We are pleased to be working with Gefest Group to introduce our flagship brand to southern Ukraine.

The creation of a new coastal retreat
The newbuild hotel’s decor will take inspiration from the surrounding environment through the use of sandy tones and coastal-inspired textures.
Guests can expect to find two swimming pools – one indoors and one rooftop – with views over the coast. There’ll also be four restaurants and bars, along with around 800 sq m of event space including a 300 sq m ballroom, plus an executive floor with rooftop lounge, wellness centre with heated pool, fitness space and beauty salon.
When it opens in spring 2025, the new Hilton hotel will place guests within easy reach of the popular resort area of Arcadia, which encompasses Arcadia Beach and a buzzing entertainment complex filled with restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Moreover, the city centre is only a 15-minute drive away and the Botanical Garden of The Odessa State University can be visited further along the coast.
