The pipeline of properties in Hilton’s lifestyle category is expected to more than double over the next 10 years.

Signings in the Canopy by Hilton, Tempo by Hilton and Motto by Hilton collections have already expanded the group’s pipeline by almost 20% in the US, Latin America and Europe.

Global growth

Signifying a significant boost to an already impressive development pipeline, Hilton has announced the signing of 10 new Canopy by Hilton, Tempo by Hilton and Motto by Hilton hotels in the U.S., Latin America and Europe.

These signings continue a period of growth for these design-led, centrally located properties. This pipeline is now expected to more than double over the next decade as the brands expand into at least 15 new destinations. In Europe, growth is particularly strong with 1,000 anticipated new hotel rooms.

“The continued growth of Hilton’s Lifestyle category is a testament to the strength of these brands and the way in which they continue to resonate with guests and owners alike,” said Matthew Schuyler chief brand officer, Hilton

“We’re excited to expand our lifestyle footprint in dynamic cities across the globe and welcome a new generation of traveller who appreciates a locally-minded, elevated experience that feels thoughtful and uplifting in service and design”

New lifestyle hubs

New properties within Canopy by Hilton’s portfolio pipeline include the spring 2023 opening Canopy by Hilton Cannes, the winter 2024 opening Canopy by Hilton Nashville Downtown The Gulch and the spring 2024 opening Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown.

From the centrally located Cannes property to neighbourhood Nashville hotel and scenic Sioux Falls property, each new Canopy by Hilton site is designed as a natural extension of the local community.

Focusing on scenic U.S. destinations, new Tempo by Hilton properties are to include the spring 2024 opening Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown Nashville Yards, the summer 2024 opening Tempo by Hilton Memphis Downtown Union Row, the autumn 2024 opening Tempo by Hilton Nashville Midtown and Tempo by Hilton Myrtle Beach Beachfront and the spring 2025 opening Tempo by Hilton San Diego Downtown- Gaslamp Quarter.

Each hotel developed within this stylish, contemporary brand is distinguished by its dynamic public spaces including an open lobby concept and premium culinary options developed in partnership with Bluestone Lane including a breakfast cafe and bar.

Entering Brazil for the first time, Motto by Hilton is then on track to welcoming the autumn 2024 opening Motto by Hilton Sao Paulo Ibirapuera, located close to the Museum of Contemporary Art, and Motto by Hilton Recife, which is to have a rooftop pub with views over the sea and Recife’s historic downtown area.

Motto by Hilton hotels pair centrally located urban locations with modern design, the best of the neighbourhood food and a local vibe.
